
Eric Tanona is currently in his senior year at Millikin University where he is a student of Terry Morris. Previously, he was featured in Michigan State University Department of Theater's The Mikado singing the role of Nanki Poo, and made his professional debut in Verdi’s Macbeth singing the role of Malcolm for Lansing Lyric Opera. At MSU, he was featured as the Maestro in Pasatieri’s comic opera, La Divina. With OCMM, he has sung Parpignol in La Boheme, Goro in Madama Butterfly, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, the Title role in Gounod's Faust, and has been featured in Opera Camerata I, Passion and Pops I and II, and other concerts singing selections from the operatic and musical theater repertoire. Most recently, Eric won the NATS competition for Michigan, and has performed the role of Nemorino in Donizetti's Elixir of Love and Leon in Pasatieri's Segnor Deluso for the Millikin Lyric Opera.
